I always forget how happy I am that people actually still use Rpg Maker 2003 until I see great looking games like this. There's just so much charm to these you don't see in Ace and MV games. Needless to say I am hyped for this to get a full release!
But yeah, I totally see where you're coming from. I feel the same way. Even though the software is super simple (and somewhat shitty tbh), it gives creators the freedom to go wild with their imagination. I think RPG Maker MV, Ace, etc are a bit overwelming with their hd resolution, complex scripts and stuff. RPG Maker 2003 is simple, straight to the point and lets you do whatever you feel like. Even the restrictions can be used in creative ways (Just look at whatever witchcraft the Yume Nikki developer used to make this game so damn pretty). I have to say to say that RPG Maker 2k3 has become a pretty important part of my life. Really love this shitty piece of software lol. Good to see I'm not the only one.
Aight, I tried some things and updated the download files. I hope it works now. Again, I asked 4 other people to test the game beforehand and they didn't run into any issues at all, so I really don't know what to do here...^-^" If you're still having issues, please let me know.
Anyways thank you for your patience and taking your time with my game. Really means a lot to me!!
It works now, unsure if it was you finding the problem, or me reinstalling, or me restarting my computer - but I was able to give it a go - will upload results.
